Neethu Varghese, hard working, with good scientific outlook, enriched with fruitful vision, was born in Trivandrum. She had her schoolings at Trivandrum and then moved further to procure her BSc Degree in Biotechnology and MSc Degree in Microbiology from Sri Ramakrishna College, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She has been endowed with Proficiency Award and stood with pride as the Seventh Rank Holder in the Bharathiar University for MSc Microbiology for the year 2005. In 2007, she was awarded the MPhil Degree fom Bharathidasan University, Trichy. Her research interest includes Molecular Biology, Genomics and proteomics and Nanotechnology, with special emphasis on gene expression analysis and neutraceutical effects on neurodegenerative diseases and brain tumors. She is actively involved in popularizing Nanotechnology in India, since 2006. She has more than three years of teaching and five years of research experience respectively. She has ten research papers published in International Journals to her credit and has presented research outcomes in more than eight International Conferences and Seminars of great scientific excellence.
